One of the most powerful ways to defeat satan is to give Thanks to our LORD Jesus, our Heavenly Father. Such a simple thing to do but something I don’t do enough.
I was never taught to fill my mind with thanks when satan is tugging at my mind, not until a couple of years ago, and only recently did I start putting this weapon into full force.
God gives us many, many weapons and being Thankful is one of them. I’ve started giving Thanks to God throughout my day, even if I repeat what I’m thankful for and in all sincerity.
I Love this simple way of creating happiness in my life that I started to teach my grandchildren the importance of giving Thanks to God.
I’m starting them out with praying and giving Thanks to God for their food. They say a simple prayer that I taught them:
Thank you for our food
We Love You God
In Jesus Name
And all God’s children say,
Before going to bed, if they sleep over with me, we go through everything we’re thankful for starting with having God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in our lives. Their mom and dad who Love them and are still together. They have each other and the list goes on and on.
We than pray on everything we are Blessed with.
I’m praying they grow up doing this. I think for those who grow up knowing how to be thankful and who focus on what they have to be thankful for have more happiness in their life.
They tend to see the cup half full.
Network marketers learn to do this as part of a positive thinking action. You can’t be negative and then try to build a network marketing business.
So if you don’t do this yet, start right now.
As soon as you have a negative thought and you catch it, maybe you’re saying “I’ll never achieve levels in my network marketing business” or “I’ll never be successful in network marketing” kick it!
Imagine yourself kicking that negative statement out of your mind and fill that empty space with “Thank You God for diligence in my business” “Thank you LORD for faith that I am successful.”
Let me know how it works for you!
give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
