“Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And delight yourself in abundance.” — Isaiah 55:2
One of my Dreams is to be healthy, to have an abundance of energy, no discomfort in my muscles, and to maintain my gut health.
I’m 61 years old going on 62 years in June. I’ve let stress pulverize my health and my immune system.
That is why I’m so thankful for the Bible Scriptures which is God’s Word. I pray for the Holy Spirit in me to grow, to invade every part of my body and mind.
Praying encourages and motivates me to get out there and walk. I’ve also started Jane Fonda’s workout for women over 50 years and it was so fun!
I also have a salad every night and as much as possible I try to take a photo of my salad of the day.
I have a basic salad of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers with lemon squeezed and I change it up to make it interesting to eat.
Here’s the salad I had on Thursday. I added some turkey burger taco meat, cheese and jalapeno peppers. My taco salad.

Friday’s salad was the basic topped with rotisserie chicken my children ate for dinner and grated cheese.

Tonight’s salad is lomilomi salad. It’s the basic salad with a Hawaiian dish called lomilomi. Lomilomi is made with salmon, tomatoes, and onions. I topped my basic salad with it and it was ono! Delicious!

Before eating my salad I always take a supplement to help me maintain my gut health.
Concocting different ways to make salad makes eating healthy more fun and interesting and it’s fun to come up with creative ideas.
I hope you find value in this post and come up with your own creative salads. Please share in the comments your salad recipes.
